Our Story

I’m Ali Noori. I came to the United States as a refugee, and the chance to build a life here is something I never take for granted. To me, the American dream means having the freedom to dream big, work hard, and build something I can be proud of. I’ve always wanted to be an entrepreneur, an owner, and a leader—and owning a barbershop was the dream I kept coming back to.

My experience owning two family restaurants taught me what it takes to run a business: long days, tough decisions, and showing up for people even when things aren’t easy. It also gave me the confidence to ask myself, “What if I took everything I’ve learned and finally went after the business I’ve always wanted?”

When the opportunity to open The Barber Lounge came along, I saw a chance to turn that question into something real. I’ve never believed in waiting for the perfect moment. When I see an opportunity I believe in, I take action—and I’m ready to put in the work that comes after.

My vision for this shop goes beyond a great haircut. I want it to be a place where you’re greeted by name, feel comfortable in the chair, and leave looking forward to your next visit. A place where talented barbers can take pride in their work and customers know they’ll be taken care of.
